You may have heard the acronym “CMS” and it left you wondering what is it and why do I want to use one? This term has become very popular in recent web design discussions or by companies offering such products. A “CMS” is a Content Management System. Per Wikipedia, a CMS is defined as “a computer application that allows publishing, editing and modifying content, organizing, deleting as well as maintenance from a central interface.” There are a few very popular CMS software packages such as WordPress, Joomla and Weebly.
